The issue on ratification of the Rome Statute shall be considered in the context of the constitutional process. Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said this on Monday, answering the questions on whether the Verkhovna Rada should ratify the Rome Statute.
Volodymyr Groysman claimed "coalition has different opinions regarding this issue". "We understand that everything related to the Rome Statute shall be conducted within the framework of the amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine".
"This issue should be considered within the constitution process", said the Chairperson of the Parliament.
