The Committee on State Building, Regional Policy and Local Self-Government recommends that the Parliament adopt as a basis the bill on amendments to article 16 of the Law "On State Awards of Ukraine" (re depriving of state awards)

The bill (Reg. No. 1211) suggests expending grounds for depriving of respective state awards, and regulating the procedure of depriving of state awards.

Provisions of chapter 3 of article 16 of the bill stipulate that grounds for depriving of state awards are: violation of territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine; public expression of supporting separatism; other deeds undermining the authority of Ukraine at the international arena and deeds that are not compatible with a high state award.
