The Committee on Family Matters, Youth Policy and Sports recommends that the Verkhovna Rada should adopt as a basis the bill on amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On Volunteer Activity” (re payment of a one-time cash aid in case of death or disability of a volunteer in the course of providing volunteer assistance in the region of antiterrorist operation)

The bill (Reg. No. 1689) suggests broadening the list of directions for carrying out volunteer activity by including into it provision of volunteer aid within the framework of antiterrorist operation and within ATO zone; and providing for payment of a one-time cash aid in case of death or injury of a volunteer received when providing volunteer assistance in the region of antiterrorist operation in the amount and in the order established by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
