The bill suggests establishing legal basis for conducting the judicial reform which shall ensure efficient protection of rights and freedoms of citizens, interests of legal entities in the court order, practical realization of the right to fair trial.
The draft also suggests forming a new version of the Law "On the Judicial System and Status of Judges" and also amending the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements, Economic Procedure Code, Civil Procedure Code, Code of Administrative Proceedings, Criminal Procedure Code, Laws "On the High Council of Justice", "On Access to Judicial Decisions", "On Court Fee", and "On the rules of procedure of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine".
The draft suggests expanding rights of citizens on guarantees of their equality before the law and the court.
Under the international standards, the issues on forming courts shall be regulated.
The draft suggests specifying and strengthening guarantees of independence and immunity of judges.
The draft also suggests amending organization and the order of forming High Qualifications Commission of Judges of Ukraine.
