The issue of functioning of the Council of Europe and Parliamentary
Assembly of the Council of Europe as well as its committees and groups, and
work of the Permanent Delegation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to the Parliamentary
Assembly of the Council of Europe were discussed during the meeting.Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the Council of Europe briefed on the main 2014 decisions of the Assembly and outlined themes of the first part of the PACE plenary session in 2015 that is scheduled for the last week of January 2015 in Strasbourg (the French Republic).
Mykola Tochytskyi emphasized the top priority issues of Ukraine, particularly, pertaining to the authorities of delegation of the Russian Federation that the Assembly will consider during its first working day. He responded to numerous questions of the people’s deputies.
