The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law "On measures on stabilizing Ukraine’s payment balance according to article XII of the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade of 1994"

The Law introduces additional import duty in connection with worsening the state of payment balance of Ukraine and considerable reduction of gold and foreign exchange reserves of the country.

The Law was adopted with consideration of amendments.

Respective bill was registered under No. 1562.
