The bill (Reg. No. 1539) suggests establishing 10-day annual additional paid vacation for taking care of a disabled person since childhood of I group, subgroup A; and unpaid vacation for a period determined in a medical report but not longer than a six (or more) year old child with disabilities of subgroup A achieves the age of eighteen.
Respective amendments are to be made to articles 83 and 182-1 of the Labour Code of Ukraine and articles 4, 5 and 19 of the Law "On Vacation".
The Committee members upheld the bill, adoption of which will allow improve social protection of families with children with disabilities of subgroup A and disabled person since childhood of I group, subgroup A.
