The Committee on Judicial Policy and Justice recommends that the Verkhovna Rada should adopt as a basis and in entirety the draft law on amendments to the Civil Code of Ukraine re inheritance release

The bill (Reg. No. 1534) aims to secure implementation of rights of citizens, including those residing on the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol by the Russian Federation; zone of anti-terrorist operation; or those who moved from the mentioned territories in regard to implementation of their property and non-property rights.

The bill suggests amending articles 1221 and 1277 of the Civil Code of Ukraine.
