During the Committee’s meeting on December 24, the people’s deputies noted that the bill (Reg. No. 1545) aims to legislatively settle the issue of access of consumers of financial services market to information on the activity of financial institutions.
The Committee decided to suggest the Verkhovna Rada hold parliamentary hearings entitled: “On the ways to stabilize banking system of Ukraine” in February.
Committee members took the decision to unite 3 bills into one – on the protection of rights of financial service consumers against consequences of hryvnia depreciation (Reg. No. 1558), on restructuring commitments on credits in foreign currency (Reg. No. 1558-1) and on additional guarantees for protection of borrowers’ rights (Reg. No. 1559), and refer the adjusted bill for discussion by the working group on December 26.
