The Committee on Financial Policy and Banking recommends that the Verkhovna Rada adopt as a basis the draft law on measures aimed at promoting banks capitalization and restructuring

The bill (reg. No. 1564) suggests regulating the issues connected with increasing financial capacity of banking system of Ukraine and increasing the level of trust in it.

The draft stipulates a complex of measures for increasing financial capacity of banking system.

The draft suggests specifying powers of the Deposit Guarantee Fund in the part of transferring assets and liabilities of several insolvent banks to a transitional bank.

Respective amendments shall be made to the Laws "On Banks and Banking", "On the System of Deposit Guarantee", "On the National Bank of Ukraine", and "On Enforcement Proceedings".
