During the meeting with representatives of the World Bank, the participants considered prospects of adopting the law on budget for 2015 and articles of the draft connected with revenues and expenditures of the state budget. They also stressed the necessity to consider in the draft state budget enough money for fund of bank deposit guarantee.
The participants of the meeting discussed the anti-crisis package which is now being elaborated by experts of the National Bank of Ukraine, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, as well as experts of the IMF and the World Bank.
Special attention was dedicated to the problems of banking system, particularly, those connected with loans which significantly influence functioning of Ukrainian banks.
On December 17 Serhii Rybalka also met with leaders of Ukrainian banks and banking associations.
The Committee Chairperson claimed the Committee is ready to become a platform for elaborating and coordinating systemic reforms in financial sphere.
"We are all interested in the result; we want our economy to overcome the crisis. We need to understand that we all are in this together - the government, the business sphere, and all Ukrainian citizens", the Chairperson of the Committee added.
The participants of the meeting agreed to form a joint group on elaboration of legislative proposals on the anti-crisis actions, which will consist of representatives of the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economy, and key parliamentary committees.
