Opening the meeting, Chairperson of the Committee Hanna Hopko said that the Committee includes 10 people's deputies. First Deputy Chairperson of the Committee is Ivanna Klympush-Tsyntsadze.
Deputy Chairpersons of the Committee are Vovk Viktor Ivanovych, Huz Ihor Volodymyrovych, Tarasiuk Borys Ivanovych; the Secretary is Prysiazhniuk Oleksandr Anatoliiovych.
5 subcommittees and one permanent commission were formed during the meeting:
- on Euro-Atlantic cooperation and European integration (Chairperson Svitlana Zalishchuk);
- on legislative support and control over activity of diplomatic service (Chairperson Borys Tarasiuk);
- on inter-parliamentary, bilateral and multilateral relations (Chairperson Volodymyr Ariev);
- on external economic relations and cross-border cooperation;
- on international and legal issues and control over Ukraine's fulfillment of international obligations;
- permanent commission on Ukrainians abroad.
The Committee members also considered the issue on establishing permanent delegations of the Verkhovna Rada to the bodies of international parliamentary organizations, Ukrainian Parties in bilateral and trilateral inter-parliamentary assemblies and adopted a decision to refrain from forming permanent delegations of the Verkhovna Rada to the Inter-parliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States, Eurasian Economic Union, and Inter-parliamentary Cooperation Commission of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
