The Committee on Legislative Support of Law Enforcement recommends that the Verkhovna Rada adopt as a basis the draft law on amendments to several legislative acts of Ukraine (re improvement of legislation on combating illegal migration)

As it was mentioned at the Committee’s meeting, the bill (Reg. No. 2367а) is aimed at improving provisions of national legislation and creating proper legal basis to strengthen combating illegal migration, granting internal affairs authorities the powers to apply measures of administrative influence to violators of legislation of Ukraine in the sphere of migration.

Respective amendments are stipulated to be made to the laws “On Militia”, “On Legal Status of Foreigners and Stateless Persons”, the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements, and the Code of Administrative Procedure.
