The proposal of employers of Social Insurance Fund for temporary disability to refuse from “non-specialized expenditures”, particularly, financing of sports schools for children and young people, was discussed during the meeting.
Commenting on the proposal, Committee Chair Artur Palatnyi noted that in case of its implementation, 165 thousand of children will “find themselves in the street”. This will lead to deterioration of their health and increase in children and youth crime rate.
Thereat, in view of financial hardship, A.Palatnyi addressed fitness and sports societies with a request to refuse form any expenditures apart from those necessary for securing adequate working conditions of sports schools for children and young people in 2014. He believes that development expenses should be postponed.
The majority of participants of the meeting upheld this proposal.
A.Palatnyi has also addressed the Ministry of Finance and the State Treasury Service to settle the issue of transferring funds by the State Treasury Service of Ukraine, that were received from the Social Insurance Fund for temporary disability in the amount equal to UAH 8,7 million, for maintenance of sports schools for children and young people of Ukraina Sport Association.
