The bill (Reg. No. 4311) suggests determine authorities of the central body of executive power that implements state policy in the sphere of monitoring and control over adherence to labour legislation; establish prohibition for missing deadlines, frequency and order of salary payment; and exclude from the applicable law the provision that stipulates the possibility of a part of a salary to be paid in kind, which shall be determined by the collective agreement.

Generally upholding provisions of the bill, the people’s deputies, however, expressed several remarks to it.

They noted in particular that determination of specific functions and authorities of the central body of executive power that implements state policy in the sphere of monitoring and control over adherence to labour legislation is not within the scope of regulation of the Law “On Labour Remuneration”.

Committee members believe that amendments to article 36 of the Law “On Labour Remuneration” require adjustment with the provisions of the Law “Procedure of Departure from Ukraine and Arrival to Ukraine for the citizens of Ukraine” and article 3771of the Civil Procedure Code.
