Oleksandr Turchynov is sure that majority of Ukrainians support independent, democratic and unitary Ukraine

Acting President of Ukraine, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov does not exclude possibility of holding a nation-wide referendum on the state’s integrity together with presidential elections, if the Parliament adopts the respective decision.

Opening the Conciliatory Council meeting on Monday, Oleksandr Turchynov expressed belief that “the majority of Ukrainians will favour integral, independent, democratic and unitary Ukraine”.

“Today Ukrainians of all regions are ready to protect their country, and to repulse the aggressor encroaching on our territorial integrity”, he stressed.
