The Committee on State Building, Local Governance, Regional and Urban Development has recommended supporting the resignation of Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal

The Committee on State Building, Local Governance, Regional Development and Urban Planning adopted the relevant decision at its meeting on 16 July 2025.

Under Part 2 of Article 115 of the Constitution of Ukraine and Article 15 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine”, the Prime Minister of Ukraine has the right to submit a resignation.

Having considered the resignation statement submitted by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, the Committee resolved to recommend that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine accept his resignation.
