Dmytro Liubota mentioned that today Ukraine once again has suffered another russian massive attack. «Here, in Warsaw, I didn't feel it, but my family, in Ukraine, didn't sleep last night. At moments like this one I'd rather be with my family under shelling than here, in a safe place,» he said.
The deputy noted that over the years Ukraine has been on a frontline against hybrid attacks and disinformation. Unfortunately today straight attacks from the enemy have become a part of Ukrainian life. «The worst is that the truth is under the crosshairs. russia made propaganda for its people. Firstly it looked totally absurd, but if it's repeated every day - someone starts to believe that the truth is somewhere in the middle. But that is not true. There is no truth in propaganda. Only a lie and reality distortion,» emphasised Dmyto Liubota.
According to him, the aggressor is spreading lies around the world, forcing people to believe the same fictions that russians believe. Everything for justify the war. «But, in a world governed by the rule of law, there should be no room for justifying war. We must act. Together we have to strengthen cross-border cybersecurity through real-time information sharing, invest in public digital literacy and build immunity to manipulation,» outlined Dmytro Liubota. He also called on providing the responsibility of the online platforms and popularization of European narratives, based on truth, democracy and solidarity.
