International partners stand side by side with Ukraine to support Ukrainian farmers and ensure food security, reports the Committee on Agrarian and Land Policy.

According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the European Union have announced the extension of the application deadline for the third grant cycle until February 9, 2025.

Under the program’s conditions, participants will be required to make their own investment contribution, the amount of which depends on the chosen area of activity. Grants will be paid in hryvnias at the UN exchange rate within two grant windows:

- Up to 10,000 for small agricultural producers;

- Up to 25,000 for agricultural micro and small enterprises, agricultural cooperatives, and associations of producers of products with geographical indications

Agricultural producers from Lviv, Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi regions, and certain districts of Dnipro region can apply for the program.

It is noted that this program also provides grant recipients with a comprehensive support package, which goes beyond financial assistance and includes expert consultations, technical advice, and training.

Currently, 266 agricultural enterprises have submitted applications to participate in the program.
