Despite the missile attacks and terrorist shelling by russia, agrarians work every day to ensure food security, the Committee on Agrarian and Land Policy reports.

According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, farmers in all regions are harvesting early grain crops. In total, 4403.25 thousand hectares of grains and oilseeds have been threshed, and 15.7 million tonnes of new crops have been harvested. In particular:

 

wheat - 2,626.5 thou hectares were threshed, harvested 10.3 million tonnes;

barley - 824.2 thou hectares were threshed, with a harvest of 3.1 million tonnes;

peas - 154.7 thou hectares were harvested, 319.3 thou tonnes harvested;

rapeseed - 779.1 thou hectares were harvested, 1.8 million tonnes of seeds were harvested;

soybeans - 0.15 thou hectares were harvested, 0.29 thou tonnes were harvested.

Farmers in Kherson region have started harvesting millet, with 50 hectares threshed and 80 tonnes of seeds harvested.

The following regions are leading in grain harvesting: Odesa region, where 629.4 thou hectares have been harvested, Dnipro region, where 544.2 thou hectares have been harvested, and Mykolaiv region, where 527.5 thou hectares have been harvested.

Ivano-Frankivsk region is the leader in terms of yield, with 65.1 centners per hectare.
