The Chairperson of the Committee on Ukraine's Integration into the EU Ivanna Klympush-Tsyntsadze welcomed the decision of the Washington Summit that Ukraine's full membership in NATO is irreversible. The document adopted by all Allies states that they will continue to support Ukraine on its path to full Euro-Atlantic integration, including NATO membership. At the same time, Ivanna Klympush-Tsyntsadze believes that this decision should have specified a specific timeframe and a clear roadmap for Ukraine's accession. And while these specifics are not available, the indecision of the allies will only add to putin's determination in his aggression against Ukraine and the free world. “He will use every opportunity to deepen the divisions within the Alliance over Ukraine. And this war may last indefinitely,” said the Committee Chair.

Ivanna Klympush-Tsyntsadze believes that Ukraine and its allies should work together to change the perceptions of those who still believe that they can somehow influence the escalation or de-escalation of the war in Ukraine. russia, according to the Chairperson of the Committee, does not need reasons for escalation. It invents them when it needs them, and the West's indecision only helps it.

“Instead, NATO Allies should work to make the Alliance an even stronger, global, not just Euro-Atlantic player. The only way to counter dictatorships is at the global level,” the Committee Chairwoman is convinced.
