“As the chairman of the Ukraine-Moldova interparliamentary friendship group, I met with colleagues from Moldova. First, in the Committee, then we examined the consequences of the attack on the medical institution,” said Mykhailo Radutskyi, adding that the friendship group holds regular meetings with MPs from Moldova online or offline. This time, the main topics of discussion were European integration and the consequences of hostile propaganda.

On 25 June, Ukraine and Moldova simultaneously started negotiations on joining the EU. I informed my colleagues that Ukraine has implemented the Association Agreement with the EU by 78% in the healthcare sector. We discussed the issue of mutual recognition of GDP and GMP certificates between our countries, as this would allow us to intensify our cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector.

In Moldova, presidential elections and a referendum on EU accession are scheduled for October. Our colleagues are concerned that hostile propaganda is influencing Moldovans and spreading fakes, including about the war in Ukraine. Even those Moldovan citizens who live in the European Union are affected by this propaganda.
