Thanks to cooperation with international partners and foundations, there are already agreements on summer holidays abroad for children of Ukrainian defenders and children of our fallen heroes.
This was stated by Iryna Borzova, the MP, Chair of the Subcommittee on State Youth Policy of the Parliamentary Committee on Youth and Sports.
“The children of our defenders, as well as the children of our fallen heroes, will be able to have a holiday abroad. We have such agreements with Poland, Hungary, Romania, Italy and Greece. Recently, children of defenders from Vinnytsia visited France, children from Sumy region went to Germany, and children from Volyn went to Belgium. Thanks to the joint efforts of the state, local authorities, charitable foundations and international organisations, all categories of children have the opportunity to relax and improve their health,” the MP said.
She added that various programmes for children's recreation and health improvement have been implemented in Ukraine, including with the financial support of the state, regions and local governments.
“There are additional programmes for orphans, children deprived of parental care, children from large and low-income families, children of defenders, and children of defenders, who can also receive a separate voucher,” the MP said.
