The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Agrarian and Land Policy Oleksandr Haidu held a working meeting with First Secretary of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, Counsellor for Food and Agriculture Ansgar Aschfalk.
The parties discussed cooperation in the agricultural sector between Ukraine and Germany, in particular, the support already provided by Germany to the agricultural sector, support for Ukraine's integration into the European Union, the development of organic production in Ukraine and assistance in representing Ukraine's position in the governing bodies of the European Union.
Oleksandr Haidu stressed that Ukraine highly appreciates cooperation with German colleagues and thanked for the support that Germany has provided to Ukraine in recent years.
The meeting was held with the support of the German-Ukrainian project ‘Agrarian and Political Dialogue’.
