The draft law No. 8371 on the prohibition of religious organisations associated with the aggressor country is ready for consideration in the second reading. It has been amended with 1300 amendments, so the Verkhovna Rada will have to spend a day or two considering this document if parliamentarians submit their amendments for consideration.

This was stated by Yevheniia Kravchuk, the MP, Deputy Head of the Parliamentary Committee on Humanitarian and Information Policy, member of the Permanent Delegation to PACE.

“In addition, in order to vote on the draft law, it is necessary to find the right time to bring the document to the session hall, because then other important initiatives, including European integration, must be postponed. That is, everything must be properly planned so that there is an effective vote and the draft law receives more than 226 votes in the second reading,” the MP said.

She expressed confidence that the parliament would find the best possible solution to ensure that this important document is submitted for consideration and supported by MPs.
