The NATO-Ukraine Council has approved an annual programme for our country for further reforms in line with the Alliance's requirements. Everything unnecessary has been removed from this document and the main areas of security and defence have been left.
This was stated by Denys Maslov, the MP, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Legal Policy.
"We agreed on clear criteria, without vague phrases, without vague requirements, and focused on what is of interest to both Ukraine and NATO – security and defence issues. We are talking about Ukraine's energy security, operational cooperation between our military, intelligence, cyber security, etc. By implementing this national programme, we will be ready to join the Alliance at any time," the MP stressed.
