Olha Saladukha, the MP, Chairperson of the Subcommittee on Higher Education and Sports, took part in the scientific and practical seminar "Innovative approaches to the process of sports training"
The seminar was held at Ternopil Volodymyr Hnatiuk National Pedagogical University.
Olha Saladukha said in her speech: "Growing a productive, successful athlete takes more than one year. And it is important that the process is methodical, consistent and continuous. Even in wartime, we must continue our work.
Each of our victories in international tournaments now takes on a special significance. Previously, we were just happy with the achievements of our athletes. Now every Ukrainian who wins a medal reminds the world of this terrible war.
The mission of Ukrainian athletes is to show that Ukraine is strong both on the battlefield and in sports. To call for continued solidarity, to emphasise the inadmissibility of the return of russians and belarusians to big sport."
