Ukraine has de facto become a part of a large European family, — the Deputy Head of the Committee on Humanitarian and Information Policy Yevheniia Kravchuk.

The leaders of the European Union have been constantly visiting Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, and now there will be even more such visits, as the Ukraine-EU summit will be held in Kyiv in early February. All this shows that our country has already become part of a large European family.

“We have only legal issues to finalize, and we hope to start negotiations on joining the EU this year. Everything that we are doing to reform Ukraine is primarily for the benefit of Ukrainians: a trusted judicial system is necessary for our citizens; the standards we are introducing in various areas will also affect the quality of life of Ukrainians. Of course, we want to officially become an EU member state,” the MP said.
