The Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Policy and Interparliamentary Cooperation, Oleksandr Merezhko, held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Montenegro to Ukraine, Dragica Ponorac

Today, the Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Policy and Interparliamentary Cooperation, Oleksandr Merezhko, held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Montenegro to Ukraine, Dragica Ponorac.

The interlocutors discussed the current security, humanitarian and socio-economic situation in Ukraine, the issue of assistance to Ukraine, including military and technical assistance and the demining of liberated territories.

Also discussed were the issues of war crimes and crimes against humanity, various forms of violence against the civilian population of Ukraine in the occupied territories, the prosecution of guilty persons and the recognition by world parliaments of the events in Ukraine as genocide of the Ukrainian people, as well as the creation of a special international tribunal.
