This was emphasized by the EU Special Representative for Human Rights, Eamon Gilmore, during a meeting with the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets.

"Eamon Gilmore is in Ukraine for the second time, and we are meeting for the second time within the walls of our Committee. We talked about the protection of human rights in the temporarily occupied territories, about russia's violation of international law. The EU Special Representative noted that he was shocked by the brutality of the russian military against the civilian population, especially after seeing the destruction of the cities of Irpin and Bucha with his own eyes," Dmytro Lubinets said.

In turn, Eamon Gilmore stressed: Ukraine is part of a large European family, and will certainly receive further support and assistance.
