The Parliamentary Committee of the Ukraine-EU Association is holding a two-day meeting in Strasbourg

The President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, and the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk attended the first session of the Parliamentary Committee of the Ukraine-EU Association.

Roberta Metsola stated that Ukraine's place is in the European family, and now is the time when Ukraine should receive the status of a candidate for accession to the European Union.

Committee co-chair Vadym Halaichuk stressed that Ukrainians pay a high price for their desire to join the European Union. Support for Ukraine's accession to the EU is currently the highest in Ukraine - over 90%.
