Unfortunately, some Western politicians are still afraid to acknowledge this 21st century genocide and even use the word "genocide". The reason is that recognising russia's crimes as genocide will require decisive action by the entire civilised world against the genocidal state. Including the use of force.

Yet, some European countries are already beginning to recognise Russia's crimes as true genocide. For example, a statement by the Polish Sejm states that Russia committed acts of genocide on the territory of Ukraine. A joint statement by the foreign ministers of Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Poland, Romania and the Czech Republic also mentioned genocide.

Russia's policy of genocide against the Ukrainian people requires concrete action by all countries to stop the genocide. Silence and inaction are now becoming complicit in russia's crimes.
