The war has been going on for almost three full weeks. Lacking significant military achievements due to the heroic actions of Ukrainian soldiers, the Putin Nazi invaders are focusing their efforts on destroying industrial and social infrastructure, bombing and shelling homes, and killing civilians, including children. The Russian Federation does not even bother to pretend to adhere to international conventions and treaties, including the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, which guarantees the inalienable right of the child to life. The main thing for the Putin Nazis is to take revenge on the proud, freedom-loving Ukrainian people, to turn our fertile land into a desert, which they came to allegedly liberate from the “made-up” Nazis. (Whereas it was Ukraine who suffered badly itself from the Nazis back in WW2. Ukraine has never been home to Nazis.)

As of March 16, 2022, according to the Office of the Prosecutor General, since the beginning of the invasion of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, 103 children have been killed and more than 100 children have been injured.
Right now, a 15-year-old boy was killed by shell fragments in the city of Chuhuiv, Kharkiv region.

In the village of Mokhnatyn, near Chernihiv, the Russian invaders shot three local teenagers. Two died at the age of 17, one - 19. Two of these victims were twin brothers.

During the evacuation from the occupied village in Kyiv region, the chief bibliographer of the Shevchenko Studies Department of the Institute of Literature of the National Academy of Sciences Oleh Oleksandrovych Kozak and his minor son Yaroslav were killed by the Russians.

Military medic Olga Semidyanova from Marganets, Dnipropetrovsk region, was killed in battles with Russian invaders. Twelve children have lost their mother. Olga had been awarded the honorary title of "Mother-heroine" for giving birth to six children and adopting another six from the orphanage.

In the past 24 hours, 80 people have been injured in Mykolayiv region, including two children.

In the Luhansk region in Rubizhne, the enemy destroyed “Kryshtalyk”, an institution for visually impaired children, three secondary schools, and the Rubizhne City Multidisciplinary Hospital. A preschool in Severodonetsk and a secondary school in Kharkiv, whose building was almost destroyed by bombing, were also shelled by Russian troops.

During the Putin Nazi aggression, bombings and shelling damaged more than 400 educational institutions, 59 of which have been completely destroyed.

It is worth noting that it is the control over the Ukrainian sky that allows the Russian Federation to torment the Ukrainian people, including the Ukrainian children. Without this control, Russian troops would be forced to at least move to the defense, and in many directions to retreat from Ukrainian land. We believe that ensuring a peaceful sky will not only be saving the lives of hundreds of peaceful Ukrainians every day, but will also be an effective means of ending Russia's aggressive war. The members of the Committee insist: CLOSE THE UKRAINIAN SKY – and protect Ukrainian youth and children.

We are looking forward to effective solutions from the world's leading countries, in particular from the NATO member states.

NO MURDER OF UKRAINIAN CHILDREN!
NO RUSSIAN AGGRESSION!
YES! THE SKIES OVER UKRAINE MUST BE CLOSED!

TO NATO MEMBER STATES
