This will be an effective measure to isolate the Russian economy, the Committee on Energy and Housing and Communal Services reports.
On March 10, the Committee unanimously supported the decision to appeal to the parliaments of all foreign countries, the European Parliament, and international parliamentary assemblies with a demand for a complete trade embargo on Russian oil and gas.
"US President Joe Biden has announced an embargo on energy supplies from Russia, and we expect that a ban on imports of Russian energy will be announced in the near future by our European partners," – the statement says.
The Committee urges to end the main sources that generate financial flows and shape the federal budget, the money from which goes to further crimes.
