Head of the Committee on Foreign Policy and Interparliamentary Cooperation Oleksandr Merezhko met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Ukraine Fan Xianrong.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of strengthening bilateral cooperation, prospects for strengthening trade and economic cooperation and implementation of joint infrastructure projects.

The interlocutors paid special attention to the development of political and inter-parliamentary dialogue, in particular the development of relations between the relevant parliamentary committees, as well as cooperation within the United Nations.
