Head of the Human Rights Committee Dmytro Lubinets met with Yevhen Sova, Michael Malchieli and Arbel Moshe, Co-Chairs of the Knesset Group on Interparliamentary Relations between Ukraine and the State of Israel

The Chairman of the Committee noted: “Ukraine and Israel are countries whose commonwealth has existed for centuries and continues to develop dynamically. We are always happy to receive our Israeli friends and partners on Ukrainian soil. And today is one of those days. We appreciate Israel's support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity within the UN. This principled position is important for Ukraine during the period of Russia's armed aggression. Ukraine strongly condemns any manifestations of intolerance and anti-Semitism. To confirm this, in September the Verkhovna Rada adopted the law "On Prevention and Counteraction to Anti-Semitism."

Dmytro Lubinets thanked the Israeli side for participating in the commemoration of the victims of one of the biggest crimes of the Holocaust – Babyn Yar. "We must remember our history so that it never happens again! I hope that the cooperation of our states will develop between friendship groups and at all other levels, "the Chairperson of the Committee said.
