First Deputy Chairperson of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk has not submitted a single bill that would have corruption risks during his two years in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. This was reported by the publication "Focus", citing experts from the Institute of Legislative Ideas.
"Corruption is Ukraine's internal enemy. Unfortunately, quite often corruption begins with the law, the text of which contains corruption risks; from the amendments that arise out of nowhere between the first and second readings, as well as from the resolutions blocking the reform laws," said Ruslan Stefanchuk.
The politician believes that changes in the country should begin with the responsibility of each of us.
"We must not just fight corruption, we must defeat it," said the First Vice Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine.
