Adopted the Law of Ukraine "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on Strengthening Liability for Illegal Mining"

Adopted the Law of Ukraine "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on Strengthening Liability for Illegal Mining" (No. 3576).
The law recognizes the illegal extraction of minerals of local significance as a criminal act and strengthens the responsibility for illegal extraction of minerals in general.
The law supplemented Article 240 of the Criminal Code with norms on strengthening criminal liability for illegal mining of local significance, as well as introduced liability for illegal mining in large amounts and especially large amounts, increased fines compared to current regulations.
The law provides for liability not only for individuals but also for legal entities.
