Adopted the Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine ‘On Ensuring the Rights and Freedoms of Internally Displaced Persons’ Regarding the Release of Internally Displaced Persons from the Negative Consequences of Failure to Make Money Obligations”.
The purpose of Law No. 2329 is to release persons who have lost their place of residence and income from the negative consequences of failure to make money obligations. The Law recognizes the state's conflict in eastern Ukraine and the temporary occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea as circumstances that preclude the liability of victims, without the need to prove it in court. The Law No. 2329 eliminates gaps and inconsistencies in the current system of legal protection of the rights of such persons, which leads to different application of legal norms by the courts.
