The last week of the plenary sittings of the fifth session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the ninth convocation is a time to summarize the work of the Parliament and Committees. This was emphasized by Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Olena Kondratiuk during the Conciliation Council of the Parliamentary Factions and Groups.
"The 'Open Rada' project, which I take care of, envisages that the Parliament will report regularly and publicly to the citizens on its activities. That is why I appeal to the Heads of the Committees, within the framework of the new policy of openness of the Verkhovna Rada, to promptly prepare and publish in open access the reports on the work of the committees based on the results of this session," Olena Kondratiuk said.
According to her, it is necessary to show the society what the Committees managed to do and what they did not.
In addition, the Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada believes that the Parliament cannot ignore the fact that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine fails in certain areas of the Legislative Work Plan for 2021, which was approved by the Resolution of the Verkhovna Rada.
