The Committee on Energy, Housing and Utilities Services considered the draft law “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Concerning Simplification of Connection to Electric Networks”
The purpose of the adoption of this bill is to significantly simplify the procedure for connecting to the electrical networks of electrical installations of customers, reducing the number of procedures, documents and approvals, a significant reduction in the time spent by customers on connection, removal of artificial restrictions and removal of barriers in the procedure of connection to the electricity grid, introduction of the "single window" mechanism for submitting appeals, applications, inquiries, obtaining information, initial data necessary for the design and implementation of construction and installation works, approval of design documentation for construction, reconstruction and re-equipment of customers' electrical installations.
MPs supported the bill, the adoption of which will simplify the procedure for connecting customers to electrical networks, reducing the number of procedures, documents and approvals.
Based on the results of the consideration, the Committee recommends to the Verkhovna Rada to adopt in the second reading and in general the draft Law “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Concerning Simplification of Connection to Electric Networks”.
