The Committee on Education, Science and Innovation heard the annual report of the Education Ombudsman

The Education Ombudsman outlined the main problems of education development, which are most often addressed to him, and suggested ways to solve certain problems. Most of the appeals concerned the reorganization of the educational network in terms of the establishment of lyceums. Also among the urgent problems are the financing of education, the formation and distribution of the educational subvention, the observance of the rights of pedagogical workers, the improvement of anti-bullying legislation, inclusive education, etc.
Given the importance of the issues raised, the Chairman of the Committee Serhiy Babak proposed to hold a committee hearing on ensuring the rights of students at the end of September this year.
Following the discussion, the Committee decided to take note of the information of the Education Ombudsman and to schedule the committee hearings.
