Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada, "The draft law No. 5600 on amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine should be seriously finalized before the second reading"

Dmytro Razumkov, Chairperson of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, emphasizes that although he voted in the first reading for the Draft Law “On Amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine and Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine to Ensure Balanced Budget Revenues” (No. 5600), it should be seriously finalized before the second reading.
"A large number of the MPs voted for this bill. But provided that it will be qualitatively finalized before the second reading. If this does not happen, it seems to me that the result will be completely different on the scoreboard," the Speaker of the Parliament stressed.
According to Dmytro Razumkov, the issue of taxation should be approached carefully. He believes that the tax pressure on business, the expansion of the powers of the tax authorities, which will create problems for it, is wrong.
He also said that the rejection of the shortened procedure for preparing for the second reading of the draft law No. 5600 was the result of a compromise reached in the Parliament to adopt it as a basis.
