Adopted as a basis the Draft Law on Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Concerning the Reform of the Sphere of Urban Development Activity

Adopted as a basis the Draft Law No. 5655 on Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Concerning the Reform of the Sphere of Urban Development Activity. The purpose of the bill is to ensure the implementation of the reform of state regulation in the field of urban planning by reducing corruption risks in the provision of administrative services, ensuring state registration in the field of urban planning by state registrars, publicity of such services, construction of a transparent and effective system of urban planning control and state urban planning supervision, application of the principle of alternative choice of the body for urban planning control, strengthening control over unauthorized construction by executive bodies of village, settlement, city councils, improvement of norms on responsibility in the field of urban planning.

The draft law proposes to amend the Land, Civil, Commercial, Commercial Procedure Code, Civil Procedure Codes, Code of Administrative Procedure of Ukraine, and a number of laws of Ukraine, including "On the Fundamentals of Urban Development", "On Local Self-Government in Ukraine", "On Architectural Activity", "On the Basic Principles of the State Supervision (Control) in the Sphere of Economic Activity", "On Regulation of Town-Planning aActivity", etc.
