The First Vice Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine stressed that the Verkhovna Rada of the ninth convocation has already done a lot both to plan its activities and to make the legislative process predictable. In particular, the planning of legislative work was introduced, the Plan of legislative work of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for 2020 and 2021 was adopted.
According to him, "the current state of development of constitutional legal relations, as well as the globalization and integration processes that affect it, the economic situation in the country, the occupation of part of Ukraine confidently prove that without adjusting certain constitutional requirements further development of many state institutions is impossible."
"Undoubtedly, one of the decisive roles in this process should be played by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. Therefore, the clear institutionalization of its constitutional functions and high institutional capacity are inseparable attributes of the tasks set before us," Ruslan Stefanchuk stressed.
