Adopted as a basis the draft law No. 5123-1 "On Amendments to the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses to Establish Responsibility for the Sale (Release) of Medicines to Minors".
The draft law No. 5123-1 is aimed at establishing administrative liability for the sale and delivery of medicines to minors.
The draft law proposes to amend the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses, supplementing the Code with the new Article 42-5, which establishes liability for the sale (including the use of information and communication systems remotely) and delivery of medicines to minors.
The draft law sets higher fines and stipulates that the State Medical Service, which is authorized by law to monitor the activities of pharmacies, will draw up protocols and consider cases of such violations.
