The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, taking into account the fact that at least 240 children have died in the territory of Donetsk, Luhansk and other oblasts since 2014 as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation and other actions of the aggressor country against Ukraine,
despite the fact that Ukraine, like most countries in the world, makes every effort to ensure that children are not discriminated against, which, in particular, is exacerbated in crisis situations and armed conflicts,
having regard to the decision of the UN General Assembly, which, under the auspices of the United Nations, established the International Day of Children - Innocent Victims of Aggression and decided to celebrate it on 4 June each year,
established in Ukraine the Day of Remembrance of Children who died due to the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, which will be celebrated annually on June 4.
