The Committee on Law Enforcement recommends to adopt in the second reading and in general the draft Law "On Amendments to the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine Concerning the Introduction of the Information and Telecommunication System of the Pre-Trial Investigation"

The members of the Committee considered the draft Law No. 5246 "On Amendments to the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine Concerning the Introduction of the Information and Telecommunication System of the Pre-Trial Investigation" prepared for the second reading.

The draft Law proposes to make appropriate amendments to the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine in order to consolidate the legal basis for the use of information and telecommunications system of pre-trial investigation in the activities of participants in criminal proceedings.

The members of the Committee supported the proposal of the Sub-Committee to recommend to the Verkhovna Rada to adopt the draft law in the second reading and in general.
