Adopted as a basis the Draft Law "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts Concerning Certain Issues of Connection to the Gas Transmission or Gas Distribution System"

Adopted as a basis the Draft Law No. 4578-1 "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts Concerning Certain Issues of Connection to the Gas Transmission or Gas Distribution System".

The draft law proposes to regulate at the legislative level certain aspects of connection to gas networks in order to increase the efficiency of the use of gas infrastructure.

The draft law envisages amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On the Natural Gas Market” aimed at abolishing the legally established mandatory division of connection into types, changing the approaches to determining the connection fee, standardizing the terms of accession measures, protecting applicants from illegal actions and inaction by operators of the gas transmission or gas distribution system.

The draft law also proposes to amend the Law of Ukraine "On Ensuring Commercial Accounting for Natural Gas", which introduces an instrument of state control over the use of resources of imported natural gas and natural gas of own production.
