Adopted the Law of Ukraine No. 5199 “On Amending the Law of Ukraine ‘On Interim Measures for The Period of Conduct of the Anti-Terrorist Operation’ to Restore the Legitimate Rights and Freedoms of Citizens as to Managing their Own Property and Receiving Credit Services”.
The Law of Ukraine uplifts the moratorium on accrual of fines and penalties on the loan amount and the moratorium on the acquisition by the mortgagee of the title to the mortgage, or eviction of residents from mortgage housing in case of the coming into force of a court decision on foreclosure on such mortgage for the period of the ATO in respect of agreements concluded by citizens residing within territories of the ATO (except for uncontrolled territories and settlements located on the line of contact, if such agreements were concluded after May 1, 2021 or amended after that date to extend obligations and/or to reduce the rates of interest or of penalties).
